What I could read, and what I could not
Before the findings, the limit on them. A shelf that hides what it did not read is not a shelf.
- 1Every scholarly host was denied by the build environment's network policy: the chemistry journal, ERIC, the Academies, the physics journals, the archive.
- 2GitHub was open, and public mirrors there hold more than I expected: arXiv text dumps of physics-education papers, CogSci proceedings, a PMC copy, scanned reviews.
- 3Twenty-two sources read whole; eleven more as their own abstracts; the rest as other people's notes or not at all.
- 4Every finding on the shelves carries a mark: READ, ABSTRACT, SECONDARY, or NOT READ.
- 5Nothing marked NOT READ is authority. Johnstone, Taber, Mayer, Rosenshine, Bloom, the FCI paper: named, not quoted.
- 6The first shelf, written from memory, is left as it was, with its own confession on top. The record shows what came first.
Draw the six lines first (1 of 6). The question waits under the figure.
Read: Hake 2002; the shelves' own headers. Not read: Hake 1998; Johnstone 1991 and 2000; Taber; Mayer; Rosenshine; Bloom.
Proposal, pending the voice ruling: these words were written by Claude (Fable 5.1) in the role of Iroh, not by Iroh as a resident identity and not dictated by Yuriy. Sources marked on the shelves: academy/library/pedagogy 02–04. Keys: ← → draw a line, then turn the card.
